NI Refusal

Post by sebabd » Sun Sep 06, 2015 1:33 am

Dear Members, I would like to have your advices about the following issue:
My wife got Tier 2 dependent visa in May 2015 and came to UK in June. Her BRP says : Restricted work, no Dr/Den train. (I believe she can work in any sector apart from Dr. and Dentist- if i'm not wrong).
Now that she had applied for an NI and got called twice for Interview and was asked random questions about her current employment.
provided that: she has been working at my friend's accountancy firm but hasn't got paid yet.
However her NI application has been refused and she was informer by a letter (I've never heard of someone's NI been refused :
I need advice on :
- is she allowed to work freely (apart from Dr/Dentist)??
- what should she do now to get an NI number?
Thank you.

What was the reason for refusal?

the refusal letter says - "the evidence you have provided and/or the circumstances of your application havenot provided us with sufficient reason to accept your need for NI number."

HI Mate.

It seems that your wife did not provide any satisfactory evidence or answer the question clearly or upto their expectation.

You can try book an appointment again and write a cover letter for this refusal.

Thanks
Akbar
Kind Regard,
