Carrying mother's passport

Post by khanz » Sun Sep 06, 2015 10:55 pm

Hi All,

I am a British citizen and my mum is dependent on me and lives with me in UK. She intends to travel to Iran shortly and needs the Iranian visa. The Iranian embassy in Dublin deals with applicants from UK at the moment. Would it be OK and legal if I carry my mother's visa application and passport from UK to Ireland to present it in the Iran embassy in Dublin? To be on safe side, I can get a signed authorization letter from my mother to carry her passport with me.

Please advise, thanks
