Raju, it is exactly same as what you have received.

Regarding the tracking, I could track in the Bluedart website (https://www.bluedart.com/maintracking.html). On the left, select Ref. No, and the input the GWF number in full of the format GWFXXXXXXXX

That's great. I have received call/message this morning from VFS that documents are ready for collection. I will be getting those documents on Monday only as my family is out of town at the moment to collect.

okay, i'm going to try the diffrent browser first, if i called the indian no. r they still charging me £1.37? or it will be Rs? thanks. Oh, i asked ukvi to check my current status on 31/08/2015, n they said its proccessed n decision has been made!
So its very important for me to confirm tht money has been sent.

I have finally heard from UKVI.

Just received an email this morning from UKVI to confim that a decision has been made

Also received another email from VFS Global to confirm they have received the decision and will be sent via courier soon Taken almost 2 months

Did you both receive your documents? How many days did your wife got the permit for? Is it exactly 30 days?

Let's hope we hear something in coming week! Also, UKVI timelines have improved on VFS website for week ending 04th Sept. New Delhi 41 days & Chennai 39 days!!

As i updated last week that i heard from UKVI and the good news is that "VISA is granted" for 33 months and we need to collect our BRP card in one of the post office here in UK.


Here are my timelines:

Vfs office - Hyderabad
Visa type: Settlement Spouse Visa
Date of application: 06-July-2015
Biometrics done : 06-July-2015
Application received at Chennai: 07-July-2015
Email from UKVI: 03-Sept-2015
Email from VFS: 04-Sept-2015

Total 42 working days!!!

VISA granted

Last but not least as a feedback, i am going to complaint against VFS Hyderabad facilities and staff members for not helping people who come for the visa filing.

I received both emails today only.

Recvd an email from Delhi office to confirm decision has been made at 10:15 (India Time)
Recvd an email from VFS Global to confirm application received at UK Visa Appl Centre and will be dispatched via post @ 12:50 (India time)

Yes, it's painful wait. I have recieved 30 days sticker visa starting from 2nd of Sept which already passed 7 days and its valid until 2nd of Oct.

Thanks Ibrahim, you are right, BHC New Delhi has a different response to Chennai. Its consistent to a few that i have seen that are posted on the forum (ref PariJ - recd the same response for visa processed by BHC New Delhi).

UKVI email told me tht a decision has been made on 31 August, but when I ask abt IHS payment on 4 th sept'15, they confirmed me tht my case is escalated again! if they make a decision then why on earth they had to escalate my case rather than return my documents? 7 days passed still no news from Delhi! can anybody explain me wht is going on?
