Tier 2 Priority Postal Service - application status?

Hi Guys,

I have applied for a Tier 2(Change in sponsor) through the priority postal service. Is there a scenario where the Home Office will contact me on my email? How will I know the Date application received at UKBA, Date payment debited, Date of approval and Date of return of passport and other documents? Will these be sent to me by email at each stage in the process or will I get to know all this in the final letter.

Any info is much appreciated.
