AN Applied in July In-Process, got 3 speeding points ???

Need urgent help.

My AN Naturalisation application is in process since July and Bio-Metric done in Mid Aug.
Q ?
I just received 3 points + £60 fine...Hand Held Traffic Camera Gun spotted me...I was doing 38m at 30m Zone

Do I need to inform HO if yes how...
Or it is considered as minor offence....

Any expert / Experience user ..Pls help / advise ?
