I have submitted my Visa application at VFS Global Delhi on 28th Aug,2015.

Still waiting for some reply from them....

Dear Sushdmehta,

I didnt mentioned as well that they told me when they are going to apply... My concern is if anyone else is getting information about their application like they have forwarded their application to BHC then why I am not getting any acknowledgment regarding my application.

Hopefully now you got my concern.

Maybe because you did not pay for the SMS service they offer, and others who are getting such information did?

I did purchase the SMS service, got the SMS and email upon BHC Chennai receiving my application.

Yeah unfortunately I forgot my wallet with my husband who was waiting outside... and was not able to take the SMS service.

I applied from Bangalore on 31st August and did not apply for the sms service too. However I got and email on 2nd Sept from Madras British Embassy that they received my documents.So you should also get an email soon.

We are in the same boat.

We submitted our paperwork on 24th Aug in Delhi, still no email. We didn't opt for SMS service too.

I was very confused with the status of my Visa application, so I called at the UK Cust care and asked for my Application status and they confirmed me that my application is under process with BHC, Delhi.

How many days VFS team told you to receive the visa as they said it would take 10 business days for me?

Ok, Actually I just got the mail from British Embassy that decision has been made on my application.

Lets see... when I will get mail from VFS to collect docs.

I gave them my expected date to travel 18th sept. and i got mail from VFS to collect my passport... so tomorrow I am going... lets see... Hopefully will get good news
