Maintenance inquiry in relation to Tier 2 general

I'd really appreciate if you could let me know this - My sponsor has already certified maintenance in COS. Does my sponsor need to provide a letter in writing that he is certifying funds for the main applicant (Even it is certified on COS)?

Also, Does my sponsor need to provide a separate letter for dependent application? Or just COS is acceptable for main and dependent applicants?

unless they add a sponsor note to the CoS that they don't certify maintenance for dependants, ticking the maintenance box automatically covers dependants who apply at the same time as the main applicant

I have read your query and assume that you have made your application? Do you mind sharing your experience and how long it took for you to process your visa? Also, did you have to apply from outside the UK?
