Hiya, I have come across this document, thought I would share it to answer your query.chriskv1 wrote:I wish someone's BRP style RC shows up so that we all can take a look , If it does , Please censor all the sensitive information including your RC number and picture and post a pic here.
Thank you.
I strongly think your BRP is waiting for you at the DX depot, that is; if you aren't expecting any parcel from anyone who will also use DX haha!! It would be such a coincidence! I read somewhere "BRPs are now delivered by the courier company (called DX)" "If you received a card from the courier company (called DX) you must contact them to arrange a redelivery." you should also receive a letter from the HO saying that you can remain in the UK and also confirming your rights.Chalkycheese wrote:So I have some potentially interesting news. Today my partner came home and found a "we missed you" card from DX. II wasn't expecting anything so I looked them up online. They are contracted to the home office. So either the home office found my passport(which would be incredibly cruel of the universe as I just picked up my replacement passport today) or is it something more interesting? A further investigation online told me that the home office uses royal mail for passports and DX for... Wait for it.
Biometric residency cards! I am now thinking that maybe just maybe my rc is in this missed package. I don't know how everyone else has been recieving their rc's but I assume it's royal mail, but as mine is one of the new ones maybe they use DX? Anyway I won't find out until I get back from Greece (I'm putting my new passport to good use) but if anyone receives a new rc can you please tell us how it was delivered.
I know it'll be really quick turn around if it is my rc (I applied 19th April) but maybe they expedited it because they lost my passport and they felt guilty.
I don't know. I'm going to call the home office tomorrow and let you guys know the outcome.
Sorry for the long post again

I am a little worried. Home office called my employer yesterday and asked if I worked there and when I started working with him. The employer responded that yes I work there, but he can not remember when I started the job. Does anyone know if they are going on home visits as well ?? What about if we are not at home then what happens?
Does anyone have experience with it?

We should start to receive soon ...
Are you "EEA" or "Non-EEA spouse of EEA"? If you are the SPOUSE of an EEA citizen, then technically whether you work or not is completely irrelevant to your application for RC. Only EEA citizens (not spouses) have to demonstrate that they exercise treaty rights (ie work) for their spouses to be granted RC. I wonder why they called your employer then... And how did they even find out where you work, I don't think that question is on the EEA FM application anywhere (I mean for a Non-EEA spouse).nora_804 wrote:Hello everyone,
