Query on Assigning RCOS

Please help me on the below

I need a small clarity if any one can help me please

I am in Tier 2 Dependent visa going back to India to apply my Tier 2 visa

While assigning the RCOS, on the Country of Residence question do I need to select India or UK?

And also in the Home address do I need to give my home country address or present UK address.

Your country of residence is India.

And also in the Home address do I need to give my home country address or present UK address.

Please Enter Details of what permission you have to stay in this country?
You are an Indian citizen. So, select yes. (It means are you a citizen of the country where you are now and from where you are applying?)

Double check with other as well..

It doesnt really matter. But in my view you should enter india address because at the time of application of entry clearance you will be resident in india. Back in 2011 when I applied for tier 2 I had to leave uk to make entry clearance so I put my home country address that time.

Hi Raghu,

sorry - this is out of topic question.

I understood you switched from Dependent to General category and applied from India.

Did you work for the same sponsor while on Dependent visa and switched to General using same sponsor? If yes, how did you show your self during RLMT and post RLMT and on CoS? My wife is also same situation. Could you please brief me your experience during this switching?
