NQF level 3

Hi all, i need a information from you guys. One of our staff wants company to sponsor him for Tier 2 visa. But company confused as he works as a Warehouse Manager which is NQF level 3 job. But the person insisting as he was PSW visa in past he doesn't need to be a NQF level 6 position. As far we know, only level 6 allowed for tier 2 G visa. Can anyone explain me ??

HI Janinah,

Your understanding is correct. In order to apply for Tier 2 visa, the job needs to be at NQF 6 level. Switching from PSW to Tier 2 only exempt the employer from carrying out resident labour market test.

Yea, yesterday we called Home Office Tier 2 helpline. They confirmed it must have to be NQF level 6...
