Earning from 2 countries

Post by scm_hsmp » Wed Nov 07, 2007 2:40 pm

Hi All,

I think this question might be asked previously. I couldn't get it in search.

My query is that
1) I am and indian citizen working in singapore as a foreginer(not as Permanent Resident) then What should I put as my primary residence while caculating HSMP.

If i put india i qualify, if i put singapore i don't qualify.

Thanks,

Tha basic question is:

How long have to lived in Singapore? If >6 months, ideally you need to show the income derived in Singapore, which will be pro-rated to 12 months if it is < 12 months.

Any other way of demonstrating the truth will dilute it.

Right now < 6months. Now wht should I select in Primary Residence.

What if I lived here > 6months. wht should I select in Primary Residence.

PS: I haven't taken Permanent Resident Card here.

Since you lived there <6 months, the majority of ur stay and earnings were in India.

Take the India salary and pro-rate it to 12 months. That should form the basis for awarding points (based on Band D, I presume, for India).
