Online Application: 19/07/2015
Biometrics in Mirpur: 28/07/2015
Documents received at Sheffield: 03/08/2015 (Royal Mail Signed For)

Todate, I have not received any email notifiation that my documents have been received at Sheffield. All that my wife has received is a Text message from Gerrys on 28th July 2015 that her application and passport have been forwared to UKVI. I am very worried! Is this normal?

I did not send a pre-paid return envelope and still I have received no email or letter to this effect.

I emailed UKVI for an update and I received an email on the 9th September 2015 that my 'Application has not been uploaded'. What does this mean?

Can someone please help!
Don't worry they will email u when they need the prepaid envelope and don't worry it can take up to 4 weeks to get notification that they have your docs

I started my previous job on 16 june 2015 and worked there till 27 of July 2015.
Salary Got from there was 26000 a year

July 2015 1699

After this job i sarted new job on 20 august 2015
salary yearly is 28000

got my wage slip for 20 September and gross salary is 3500.

I was not working anywhere before that date.
Can you please let me know will i be ok to use my 6 month salary slips and apply visa in february and attach my contracts and stuff.

Is ielts general be fine?and what is the minimum band requirement.

I will appreciate your response.

I m just not sure they will accept the city and guild certficate , on the application form I have just write * A1 certficate passed from city and guild college London*.

Could you please advise? Any one this forum done the A1 certficate from city and guild been refused or successful?

Thank you

Married: 29/01/2015
Application online: 01/09/2015
Documents send to Sheffield office: 06/09/2015
For a group of us it has been the Cambridge English KET exam but from what I hear they aren't having any issues with them now as people are getting there visas so maybe it was just an August thing
Thank you it's mean there is no issue with A1 certificate from city and guild college if it is done before 4th April 2015.
Can u please also explain what happened in August.
Thanks you again[/quote
You should be fine Inshallah and from what I gave deduced they were needlessly refusing visa for English certificate verification checks that they did not conduct properly

Hi,

Regarding your income and payslips you are fine to apply after you receive your February payslip as there requirement are that you are in employment for minimum of 6 months. Have your bank statements of the same period.

Regarding the IELTS your wife doesn't need to do the general one. She needs the Like Skills A1 which is only speaking and listening and she just needs a pass.

She can book a test from here: http://www.britishcouncil.pk/exam/ielts ... mmigration

Dear Customer,
Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission Islamabad.
Unfortunately the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further assessment. This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.
We will conclude your application as soon as possible and you will be contacted when your documents have been returned to the Visa Application Centre. You will then be contacted when your documents are ready for collection. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before they have contacted you.

Is there any need to email them for expedite processing after this email?
How long it will take now?
How often i enquire about my application status through email?

Hi all,

Need your advice on an issue.

I've been sorting out my documents and was going through my payslips and noticed that my first payslip has a number wrong in my NI number.

I spoke to my employer and they said they can't get it reprinted so I'm not sure if that is an issue or is that something they will pick up on. Should I get a letter from them stating they have made this mistake and do I need to contact HM Revenue?

Not sure what to do so any help will be appreciated.

Jazakallah
