Zeb77 the Service Standard page of the UK Visas and immigration reads as below:

Our service standard processing times start when we receive your application and end when we send our decision to you. The times include registering your biometric information where needed at a participating Post Office.

Hi guys, just need to ask this question... for how long can an EEA QP be a jobseeker for?
The reason for this question is I am looking to apply for PR soon as I am a family member of an EEA national by marriage from 2010 but the EEA QP has only been in continuous employment for 4 years to date but was a jobseeker for 11 or 12 months from the date of entry in the UK and never claimed any Jobseeker allowance during this time therefore never registered. These 12 months also includes the 3 three months unrestricted stay stated in Article 6 "Union citizens shall have the right of residence on the territory of another Member State for a period of up to three months without any conditions or any formalities"

I don't mind waiting but why wait if I can get it 12 months earlier and also apply for BC within that time?

SO please I need your advise guys.
Article 50 triggered: What happens next? What Brexit means for EEA nationals.

Hi @ Moon123123,
it's very strange that you still haven't even been charged for your application, do you have the tracking number from the post office for you to check and make sure the home office have received your application? Usually they will charge you within a few days of receipt of your application, then send the biometric letter enrolment after 2 weeks of application sent, then after that you should receive your COA with right to work,
Give the HO a call and chase your biometric letter, you can contact them @
contact no 03001232253
Are you a non-EU? Can you share with us how you qualify for PR card? Im understanding you are non EU? Biometric enrolment are only for Non-EU, so if you are EU you usually won't even get a COA and definitely not an enrolment letter.
Share more details please then we can advise

Hello guys,

Here is my timeline,

Applied: 04/04/15
COA: 16/04/15
PR received : 12/09/15 dated 09/09/15

In my case I had many troubles After I spit up with my ex wife. I spent lots of money on many solicitors for some most irrelevant advices. But finally I started going through this forum which helped me lot but the most important thing is I met Obie through this website who came to me as my saviour or better say as God on right time, and with his invaluable help from 2011 until now, I finally received PR. very rarely we come across such a wonderful, genuine, intelligent and helpful person in life. The way he helped me and many others through this website in various cases is really very appreciating.

Thank you once again and I wish you guys all the best who are still waiting for their turn. Hope you all will soon hear that good news too. :)
