I was expecting a few more our people gonna receive their BRC today.

That is, if everyone is waiting at home... how about those at work? Or out of the house somewhere else during the day? We would not know until the evening when everyone can confirm they have/have not received RCs.

I do not know which department, for my case I'm EEA citizen, so it is natural that they contact my employer.

I have realized that you are not EEA nationals, so you should not worry because they will not contact your employer but they will contact your spouse employer

That is, if your spouse is working. Depends on your situation and how your spouse is a qualified person. If they are a student or self-sufficient, or self-employed, or job seeker, the folks at the HO are obviously not going to call any employer, because there is none.

If, your spouse is an employee at a company my best bet is that they are obviously going to call whatever employer contact number you put in the form when you filled it in.

In any case, your employer being aware of you not having a RC yet should not be an issue, as you already have a CoA, I assume with right to work, as you are married? If that's the case, you are legal, and not having a RC should not be a problem.

There are quite a few April cases who have applied post 6th and have recieved thier RC within 5 months. So I think on an average the introduction of biometrics has delayed COA issual but not the RC itself.

no i just requested my passport ,because my husband passport are with HO in other department. And we think they have lost his passport.

Today I received my CoA 62 days after biometric enrolment. I had to call, mail them for reminding.

I am not sure but delay may cause due to my request of passport before receiving CoA or we made joint application with my EEA partner or could be completed different reason.

From now calm waiting till 5-6th months of application (December January(particularly holiday season)) started.

I would say, payment is deducted one day or two after they actually receive your parcel. Did you send it through special delivery? Can you track it? I sent mine with special delivery so that it arrived the morning after.

Also, It might take your bank 2-3 days to show the payment. Mine showed it to me only on Sept 13th, even if the date the payment was deducted was Sep 11th.
