Can I work immediately after HSMP approval

Can I work after getting HSMP approval while not finishing the FLR(IED) application?

You can work if your current visa category allows you to work otherwise you cannot. For example if you are working for a company on a work permit and you have got an HSMP approval, you cannot switch jobs based on that but have to wait for the FLR application to be processed.
