Hi Sree,

I too faced the same problem previously. But got it approved in the review by explaining them. Refer this link

Can you please call the HO and know your application status. Usually the decision will be made in 2 weeks and might have sent you the decision letter now.

If the decision is still pending you can FAX the letter from your university. Please confirm the same with the HO as soon as possible.

Hi sree,

Thanks for ur reply.I got a mail from HO today saying that my application is still under consideration.Shall i send a fax to them stating the reasons or emial is enough?.

If they ask for any proof i am planning to send one of my friends OD photocopy.Backside of the OD its mentioned very clearly that the university name is changed from april 2004.Will it be enough?.

Hi,

It is better to FAX them the document which clearly states that the University name got changed along with a clear covering letter. Call them for the exact FAX number. I think it is mentioned in HSMP guidance note or workinginthruk.gov.uk site.

Hello Friends,

Here is some information about my qualification

Degree : Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication
Country : India
University : North Maharashtra University, Jalgoan

Question 1 : Can someone please tell me the NARIC equivalent for my qualification ?

Question 2: Do I necessarily have to send my degree to NARIC to obtain a verification and submit it along with my HSMP application?

It will be a great help if my questions are answered.

For Queston 2:

All universities degrees under UGC, GOVT OF India are considered to be equivalent to corresponding British thaught degree equivalent.

It is not necessary to keep NARIC Equivalence for Bachelor's degree. But it will be good to get the NARIC equivalence for making sure you meet the Educational requirement.

I didnt have the assessment details in the approval letter. But looks like both these degrees and the university is there in the NARIC database.

Hi Friends,

Apart from a BE I also have the following qualification

- Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC (Centre for development of Advanced Computing) 6 months full time

My questions are
- What is the UK comparison for this qualification ?
- Will it help me if I submit the NARIC comparision for this qualification as well along with the degree certificate?

It would be a great help if someone answers these questions

Note: Don't send any Technology related certifications as they will not be assessed. Also for the well known Universities and their accredited programs, no need for NARIC assessment. But for safer side & quicker processing, it is better to get assessed by NARIC.

Hi! Plz anybody tell me how will they consider my MCA(Distance Learning) from PTU(Punjab Technical University) according to NARIC?

Do they consider Distance Learning (Correspondence) study and Regular Study differently?

What is British Bachelor (Ordinary) degree standard? And is it able to claim for 30 Points?

Hi all,

is it that if we know that a particular university degree is already registed with NARIC and equivalent to UK degree then we don't need to go for NARIC evaluation.because i was going through HSMP guidelines and it says that it is the responsibility of candidate to produce NARIC certificate.
