reply from Dublin visa office ,need help please

My wife and my son apply as qualify family members of EU citizen (C) visa on 17/06/2014 we send all applications and documents and passport all together in one DHL envelope directly to visa section in Dublin .we send an email to check the status of our applications and we get this replay.

Thank you for your email of 14/09/2015.

The visa application referred to was received in the Visa Office, Dublin on
30/07/2015. The passports were received on 15/09/2015 The application is
currently awaiting examination.

While every effort is made to process them within a reasonable time frame,
processing times will vary; having regard to the volume of applications,
their complexity and resources available.
As a qualifying/permitted family member, where all the required supporting
documentation has been received and no queries remain outstanding, a
decision can be expected within 8 weeks.

As you will appreciate, in order to be fair to all applicants, applications
are processed in order by date received in this office.

We couldn't understand why they receive the application in a date and the passport on a different date while we have send them together?
8 weeks from 30/07/2014 or 15/09/2014 ?
Can any one explain what does the reply mean?

hello Hassan Mostafa,

very strange yr story but now A days every person r facing trouble reg visa issues. Aanyways its better u mail them whole story and ask them Coz they will answer u better ways, maybe some typing mistake over there.

I'm very confused about the 8 weeks is it from 30/07 or 15/09 ?
