if I do not receive anything in the post tomorrow or next week it means there are signs that home office suspect something and want us to interview. Which will certainly be some time before we get RC :x
Nora, I asked people here before and it seems that those who were called in for an interview received their invitation at about 4 months after the submission date and the interviews were conducted at about 5 months after the submission date. You are passed that time by more than a month already. If they wanted you for an interview you would've received your invitaion already about a month ago. This is not 100% guaranteed, of course, it's just an observation, but these are the responses I got from those who went for an interview.

Thanks for the response opxa. I'm maybe a little impatient. I think some negative now because home office called my employer 10.09, so that means they've started with my case and I have requested all my documents but I only got my passport. And no one else from april applicants have experienced that home office has contacted their employer therefore why I'm worried. But I must have more patience and calm down my nerves perhaps they need a little more time

Opxa, dont think negatively.
They wont lose your card but the info you found is quite useful. Thanks.
opxa wrote: As it turns out, there's absolutely no way to avoid posting your original RC to the DVLA.

However, on a bright note, I discovered that there's a form called BRP RC that one can use to get a replacement card relatively easily if a BRP is lost or stolen. So, it won't be necessary to reapply and wait another 5-6 months.

Hi ELIZSKY I've applied 26th August and 3rd Sep I called to the HO to ask about acknowledgement letter the guy on the phone said they don't send It anymore and within two week I should revive my Biometric letter
Have you recive your bio or COA?
Hi ClaCarSa. They sent an email to my husband on 4 September to inform him that they received the applications. I haven't receive any letter from them yet. Kind of worry.
Hi ELIZSKY , which application form did you use?
I applied using eea(efm) unmarried partner and I recived my biometric enrolment letter and COA same day in the same envelope 9th September dated 4th Sep. I've applied the day after you applied. Just wondering why they didn't send you anything yet
Hi ClacarSa, I called HO today and asked them why they only sent email to husband but not me. They said they will send me a letter within 5 weeks so I won't receive any email from them. I used the EEA (FM) form. I am married more than one year and have a baby girl now. Wondering why I still haven't receive any letter from them.

Did your partner submit EEA(QP) as well?

I noticed there some typo on my timeline.
Here is the correct timeline.
Application Sent: 25 August 2015
HO Received The Application: 26 August 2015
Payment Deduct from bank account: 28 August 2015 (Fees for my husband and I)
An email sent to my husband to acknowledge received his application: 4 September 2015 (Our applications were sent in together)

Any more Septembers???
I have recently registered on this forum as this seems to be the best way to keep myself informed while I await the outcome of my application. Here's my timeline:

We made a joint application EEA(PR) for EEA spouse and EEA(FM) for myself on 2/9/2015
Application Received 3/9/2015
Acknowledgment letter for Spouse received 12/9/2015 (No acknowledgment for myself)
Biometrics letter received :16/09/2015 (sent a request for a new one same day as details were incorrect).
New Biometrics letter -pending
Thanks Ayeesha, that's helpful. What's the date on your first biometric letter? And when were your payments deducted from the bank?

Hi Kamoe, we decided to include postal orders as we didn't want those HO staff mistyping the card details.
My first Biometrics letter was issued on the 12/09/2015 but received on 16/9/2015.
Now am on a long wait for the correct Biometrics letter due to HO's negligence to check my details before posting :(

My EEA spouse currently changed her Job, and we called home Office to ask if we need to send them the employers deatils and payslips, but surprisilngly the said No i dont need to and i called them later after few hours to confirm same thing and the still said No i dont need to send. The said what is important is that she was employed at that time we made the application.

What you guys think? any suggestion please
Kristo, I would update their records by sending the new work contract and payslips, because during consideration of the application they might decide to call that old employer, and you know what will happen when the employer says the EEA person is no longer employed at their establishment...
