Hi ,
I am not sure that my satution can match at yours one but i was stuck in the Visa as well then i got Retention Visa and i got Approval 31 August and submited Bank Draft and Garda Card,
I submited my Case for Nationalization on 9th november 2014 and it is approved on 31 august 2014. i didnt heard any thing recently in last one week that that they sending approval but yes they are sending cermony letters and i dont know have idea when they will keep the cermony for dublin, so i am guessing yes there is a chance that they can send u approval and ask to submit fees , Because it happend with my two friends , They got letter 3 weeks and ask for submission of fee and in the same 7 days they got cermony invitation letter , so you never know ,, you will be fine

Hi,

I sumbit my GNIB in April and it took 4 months after that to take a decession by Minister, If your case is straight forward so they can take decession very quick but once they ask you some thing for example Documents etc and you delay sending them so then it takes long. I will wish you best of luck but its a game of Patient bro ... wiat at rte time they will contact you , My suggestion is not to tease them by Email or calls , i saw people who are always in Rush , they keep them in Long way ..so just put them on a side and you will get it once they complete their process

Most likely your application has been approved by the minister and just the INIS officials preparing a letter in that respect to be issued and sent in the post to you in the coming days. Good luck!
Congrats Araja! I told you.... Now you have your approval! :D

Tdianecamara wrote:I applied since 22nd of January 2015 and received all correspondence as normal, but now the agency reports is taking longer. I called Inis but they says sometimes it's takes longer for some cases. Considering that I have no criminal record, and never been in court in this country. Why is it taking longer? Can anybody tell me, which stage I am now? How long for the final decision? Because my application will be 6 months on the 22nd of this month.
I am so annoyed about my application because I applied since 22nd of january 2015 and until now no decision yet. I wrote them an email and that what they replied:
"your application is being prepare for submission to the Minister. It has not yet been submitted. As soon as all information has been obtained in relation to your application it will be submitted for a decision at that stage.
It would greatly assist this office if you only contact us if it is absolutely necessary as this will allow us to devote the maximum time for the processing of naturalisation applications".
After 8months it's what they saying to me and I am so piss off about the application.
Please advice.

Hello friends ,
I like to know after receive your ist acknowledgement letter u have to wait for second stage letter . Well if they do not require any document so can they send approval letter in 2 months . Or is there any chance any one got approval without second stage letter

Secondly, cis there any one got approval and ceremony in minimum time ,can he share time line with us .

I applied my citizen on 3/9/2015 and got ist acknowledgement letter on 17/09/15. So what you thing when can i get approval or what is next ceremony available for me .

In my first acknowledgement they mention your application has not been examined in full and we will be unable to confirm it you meet the other statutort conditions for naturalisation until a further examination takes place.

I would like to know they generaly write same to every one .plz share comments thanks

Please note that your application for naturalization is to the Minister. If further documentation and/or clarification of any matter related to your application is required from you, we will
write to you requesting it. Otherwise, you will receive a letter in due
course informing you of the Minister’s decision on your application.

We are in a similar situation to you, just applied last week, hopefully our acknowledgement will be as quick.

My wife's eea2 will expire so I have asked some questions about this and no you do not have to renew. There is no legal obligation to renew the EEA2, it is really just a proof of your rights (if you are exercising treaty rights).

The only issue may be if you are travelling and trying to get back, but you have the acknowledgement letter for this, that is why we are keen to receive ours quickly.

Hello Stanic! First thanks for the response, I know that in UK Boarder you dont need to renew it unless you want to travel, but INIS don't recognise, they have their know rules or procedure, I already received my approval but no invitation yet for the ceremony. My only worry is if they request me to renew my visa if im only couple of weeks or month for the ceremony, you know what i mean, the hassle to fill up the form again and waiting time again, so I just hope theres another ceremony on November.

Good luck to your wifes application and hope everything will be quick for you.

Again thank!
