claiming benefit

hi all,

i have one question


i went to ireland in december 2014. and then i call my non eu wife and children thier and apend 8 month over their before they come to uk on EEA family permit on surinder singh route.

now i join my old job in tesco but i have only 21 hour contract. now i want to claim benefit but some body told me that i have to stay and work in uk for 6 moth some says for one year.....

do any body know what is the exact time that i will be emtital to claim benifit. ? and what benefit i can apply right now....?

i think only child benifit if i am not wrong...?

It is 3 months you have to be in the UK once you have returned after being abroad for 6 months or more.

Whatever you apply for, they will conduct a 'habitually resident test'.

Hi cr001,m an eea national married with non eea wife.my wife n two children (eea)are now living with me.my wife on eea family permit.applied residence card for her and residence certificate for me.she got coa last month.now I want to claim ctc n wtc as m on low income.please yell me doing this it will effect our applications under process.from last month m getting child benifit.pls help me n tell me which benefits I can claim.thanks in advance.
