What will happen if HO has sent our approval letter out and it has been lost in post. The is no other way we can find about it till we receive rejection letter from HO for failure to book our ceremony within 21 days from the approval date.

What if the rejection letter gets lost in post? you will forever be waiting for your approval!

Come on people... Our turn will come very soon. Home office is probably trying to clear as many applications as possible within their standard 6-month deadline. They cannot just complete all April ones before May, June etc. unfortunately, our applications have fallen behind in the queue, that doesn't mean they have put ours on hold.

Your NCS will eventually notify you too. So thats two different things that would have to get lost in the post.

Date of biometric letter : 24/05/15

Date of receipt of approval: 19/09/15 (letter dated 15/09/15)

People see all the timelines and pick and choose stats that would explain why their application is taking longer.

Nothing wrong in this if it helps you feel better but from what I have seen, there is no logic to any of this.

Mine is a straightforward application .I know it takes time but sometimes it is frustrating when you see that some June applicants getting approval.I am only human.anyway good luck

i feel your pain, especially when people say things the only people who arent approved yet are the ones with extra check, complex apps etc. no one knows how the HO works yet everyone likes to speculate.

curious, have you been out of the country a lot in the last 5 year ( i have had quite a few absences and although ive never been away for longr than the allowed period i wonder if it takes them that long to check 5 years worth of weekends away!
