Finally - The wait is over and received my water bill yesterday dated 17th of Sep. Ohh, I know what you thinking but I have given up on waiting for the brown envelope so am trying to entertain myself with everything else, even the heating bill is welcome.

Applied 18th April (Sat).
Processing officer went for golf: 19th of April
Bank balance plunge: early may
Biometrics: around 22 May
Osa started checking this forum silently on a daily basis: 23.07 (3 months from application)

Yea, the council one actually had a first class stamp.
don't they send the Certificate and the actual letter at the same time?

Finally i recieved my approval letter today
23/09/2015 dated 21/09/2015..
I gave special delivery envelope with my application.
Last night i checked the tracking no but it showed nothing but surpisingly i recived approval today adv8sing me to wait for invitation from the council . Total duration 5 months 16 days from date of application ...will keep u guys posted about my ceremony .thanks again for listening to our frustation during this period ... feeling relaxed ...

My partner had a moment's worry as she received a second biometrics letter sometime in July claiming they'd never received hers.. but her approval came through the same as mine today.

Congrats today who got approvel. .....really happy for them ....but other side we are waiting like stuped and don't know how long more we have to wait they should follow turn wise not like randomly pick up for decision

How rude the Nationality Enquiries people can be? I know it hasn't been 6 months for me, however they can at least provide an update. He didnt even let me give my reference number and said wait till 24th October. Disgusting. .. this is ghe kind of service you get after filling up their fat tummies....
