ID card instead of Birth certificate as proof of family

Just wondering if Pakistani National ID card can be provided as evidence of family relationship (father) instead of Birth certificate? ID card contains name of father as well and is issued by a government organization. (This is for applying non-EEA parents short stay visa for Ireland to accompany their EU family member exercising treaty rights).

No, You need proper docs such as birth certificate and also attach Family registration certificate as proof of family that will include all you brothers and sisters tell ur father or mother to go to NADRA office with original ID card and photo copies of ID cards of ur brothers and sisters becoz they will ask you for this Family registration certificate as well .. good luck
