Hi JD,

Congratulations!

I sent out my application on Oct 18. It was delivered on Oct 22. I called HO and they said the decision has been made and the documents have been sent back on Oct 30. But the man who answered my phone said he is not allowed to tell me the decision.

But it seems you got the answer from HO by phone call. How can you make it? Thank you.

jd wrote:Called HO and came to know that my case has been approved. Now waiting for documents.

Thanks to all kind buddies and thanks to the forum.

Thanks,
JD

Application send via Courier from Islamabad Pakistan: 17/10
Delivered: 23/10
CC charged: 23/10
Ref number received: 25/10
Decision made: 26/10
Documents sent by Airmail: 26/10

Don't know the decision yet. Hoping its positive!
I emailed HO about status of my application today and they replied that a decision has been made and docs sent back by airmail on 26/10.
Any idea how much time will it take to reach in Islamabad (Pakistan) by Airmail?

Thanks,
JD

Congratulation Sudhi. You made your application yourself? Or did you take help from any consultants?

Good luck for your EC.

HSMP Review Approved

Post by junk005 » Sun Nov 04, 2007 6:03 am

Events:
03 Sep 07: Application sent.
21 Sep 07 : Application rejected, reason my salary evidence is not consisted,
10 Oct 07: Review letter sent:
20 Oct 07 : Apllication approved.

So I would suggest all of you to atleast send one review letter if you feels you are correct

In my case:
Sent 12 months salary slip, out which there months payslip was £50 higher than bank transfer, although my P60 was conistent with my payslips. Sent employer letter and P60.
Sent Agra University B.Sc marksheet and letter from University.
Intially my application was rejected but then in review they accepted.

So its dependes on case worker as well....

Best of luck!!!

Hi both,

I think its just luck. They can tell decisions once your documents have been dispatched from HO.

It depends person to person, some are kind to tell the decision and some are not. My suggestion is that if you can afford then call again and ask for the decision, you may find some kind person there!

JD

Status response from HO

Post by hsmppune » Mon Nov 05, 2007 8:55 am

Hi Friends,

These are the timelines for my case:

Sent the application from Mumbai: 25th October
Reached the HO: 29th October.

I have paid the fees thrrough SBI demand draft. I mailed them to find the status of the my application and got the following response:

"Dear Sir/Madam

Thankyou for your email.

Your application is not currently showing on our system, there is a chance that your application is with our charging department for payment to be taken. As soon as we receive your application at our sheffield offices, we will input your application on to our system and send you an acknowledgment containing your reference number.

Kindest Regards"

Can someone please expain this process? Do they have a separate center outside Sheffield where the payments are processed and then the application actually reaches the HOme office?

I had sent my application to the Sheffield address, and was not sure of this procedure.

Can someone please clarify this?

Can't Contact HO through Phone

Post by cdraina » Tue Nov 06, 2007 6:30 am

Hi All,

From past 3-4 working days I am trying to contact (From Mumbai, India) at the following numbers (Unsuccessfully):

1. 0044-11-4207-6020

Doesn't connect at all. I get engage tone all the time.

2. 0044-11-4207-4074

Connects to IVR, I press '1' for HSMP case and then IVR tells me that they are working on applications that reached home office on 21st Oct. Then the IVR says " We cannot disclode particular application details to the external vendors" and the call is disconnected.

I am not sure what's happening, did anyone on this board have similar experiences?

PS: I have talked to HO reps on both the numbers in the past.

Hi junk005,

How did you know your review request was approved? Did they tell you by phone or email? Or did you just receive the decision letter? Or you an in-country or an overseas applicant?

I have also sent a review request on Oct 30. I received an email reply from HO that decision has already been made and the decision letter was dispatched on Nov 8. However, they were not willing to tell me what the decision is but they gave me a tracking number with Royal Mail. Did you also experience the same thing?

Thanks.

SEP 28: Application Sent
OCT 01: Application reached HO
OCT 01: Fee Debited
OCT 03: Got the Reference Number
NOv 26: Decision
NOV 28: Documents collected by FedEx

Finally a decision has been made on my application after 2 months. Will get the papers by 30th Nov. Will update the forum about a decision once I have the papers. Since my application went for a verification process I am not very confident about the success. I have mostly seen Denails for case that go through verification. In fact I haven't seen even one out-of-country case where the application was approved after verification.

hey purplepple!

thanks buddy.

MBE collected the documents on my behalf and sent it to me through Fedex. It was a bit expensive (In all GBP 60) but smooth.

Wish you the best for your review decision.

Look forward to meeting you in UK
