Time frame for allocating cos number for tier 2 extension

HI

Can some body advise me how long will it take to assign cos number for tier 2 extension.

Today my hr requested cos for tier 2 extension through their SMS system.

It says ready to go as status, buy cos number is not generated.

can some body tell how long will it take for ukba for assigning cos number?

ukba doesnt assign a cos..
they give you allocation..
once the company has allocation, they have to assign the cos to you by entering all your detail, job description etc, and when they submit that, a cos number is generated instantly.

so answer to your question is, if your sponsor already has cos allocation, they should be able to assign it to you in 30 min, which in turn should give you a cos number.
