They should seriously have a tracking website or some status update on application website, would stop us emailing every day and give us peace of mind and increase productivity for them.

Am tempted to email but then think whats point, they give a generic reply, which is false which in turns gives u heart attack lol

like sooo many ppl have had emails saying not processed etc and next day they get official emails.

im on week 10 and heard nothing since they got application.

other seems to have updates saying in progress etc, i have had nothing.

Hello all,

My Spouse (sponsor) is paid By recruitment agency £600/week. The agency hired her i. September2015 for the school for initial (temp) 4 months till December.

Now the same school wants to make her permanent after december with salary exceeding the £18,600 mark. That contract would be from jan to july (when school session ends).

Questions:

1 - she would have Recruitment agency's payslips till December(4 momths) and Recruitment agency crediting her bank account, then it wud be the same school paying her afterwards. Would it count as same employer as she hasnt changed the school ? Its just the paying source has changed.

2 - Can I apply in March 2016 when she would have a total of 6 payslips ( 4 from Agency 2 from school) ? - when the school writes her a letter saying she is working with them since September 2015 ??

Sorry about making it that long to read. Any help wud be really appreciated

I applied on carers allowance as well, but I was advised to get a part time job paying at least £75 per week. These solicitors have there own way of doing things! I don't know who is right or wrong. I live rent free with my sick aunty. When do your 12 weeks end?

Hi, I would advise you to wait six months from when your wife starts earning over 18,600. The requirements are that you show payslips for six months but these six months should show that the sponsor is earning 18600 or more. If you were to apply in March you would not fulfil this requirement so I would say you would be better off waiting the few more months before you apply. For this reason, I think your first question is irrelevant as you wouldn't even need to show those payslips but just have a letter that when your wife started this job and how long she has been earning 18,600.

I hope this helps but I'm not an expert so maybe someone else will be able to advise you better. Good luck with your application.

I believe it's the date of application, but still no guarantee that we will hear by then unfortunately as it could take longer.

Im not being rude but they count from the date of biometrics. And one week consist of 5 working days. So 60 working days mean 12 weeks (3months). Have sabr

Reapplied online for my wife and this time it was charged in PKR and not pounds, so the actual amount coming out of my bank account was more like £1785, due to exchange rate and charge by bank for using foreign currency. 171,360 PKR application, 102,000 PKR for NHS surcharge.

Wife only had to take appointment letter, passport and some photos with her. She took copies of everything just in case so they didn't rip her off. I'm waiting for some final documents and then will send everything to Sheffield.

I pray everyone's application is successful, please remember us in your duas also.
