Finally got my approval!

Eligibility criteria: 9 years ILR
Language criteria met : UK degree
Current nationality: Zimbabwean
Method of application: NCS
Date of application: 09/04/2015
Date of receipt by UKBA: 10/04/2015 (I think)
Date of debit or clearance of fees: Can't remember
Date of acknowledgment: Did not get one
Date of Biometrics recieved: 05/05/15
Date Biometrics sent: 14/05/15
Date approval received: 01/10/2015 (dated 21/09/2015)
Date of ceremony: 29/10/15

Got it!

Emailed my MP this morning, and got a reply saying that my application was granted on the 24th of September, and they attached a copy of the letter of invitation. So ceremony booked for 06/09.

Yes I had the same thing as well, I emailed our MP this morning and got a response that it was approved yesterday so should be something in mail tomorrow.

Did the telephone agent even take your details/reference to look through your records before saying that or did they just say "call back in 2 weeks" without looking through your records?

No they did not take my details, even when i offered to give it to them.

No they did not take my details, even when i offered to give it to them.

I emailed my MP yesterday and then called to check what to expect but the lady I spoke to there was a little bit irascible. She was like "as you can imagine, I get a lot of queries so cannot tell you when I'll be able to action it, but I will and get back to you". Which constituent are you in? I just wish I was in a Labour constituent - their MPs are usually fair and helpful.

Even I emailed my MP on Tuesday and Thursday morning, received a letter from MP's office saying we are on your case and home office is supposed to reply them in next 20 days. Hopefully, there should be some action in next few days... im still waiting for today's post though

Yes I had the same thing as well, I emailed our MP this morning and got a response that it was approved yesterday so should be something in mail tomorrow.

Who, here, lives in the Islington North constituency? Please raise the chaos and careless service going on at Home Office with the new Labour Leader (Jeremy Corbyn). He seems a fair guy.

I believe the HO don't care about the level of service they offer immigrants and it is pathetic that after taking £1,050.00 from each of us they cannot allocate 5 minutes of their staff's time each month to provide each of of us monthly updates. How can they let us go through six months of anxiety without even helping at any point. Imagine the impact this service would have had on people who naturally suffer anxiety disorder. We need this issue raised in the Parliament.

Received an update from home office. They have sent me a letter saying they were unable to make a decision within 6 months because of "outstanding policy issues" and given me a new date of 30/12/15 (which they say they still might not meet).

I guess I won't get an explanation for what these "outstanding policy issues" are?

I am happy to share that my application got approved and I have received ceremony invitation today i.e. 3rd Oct (dated 2nd Oct) though yet to receive HO approval letter!!

Amritsar Singh I think mine and your time line is same 14/4/2015
As I mentioned in previous comments that's there is diffintaly some problems in 14 April applications either HO lost our applications or they love us and Want we 14 April applicants in touch with HO....
So let's see for how long HO torchering us ....
We need to be strong and bother this torchering ....
