very urgent plz: earnings template query

Post by niruv » Sat Nov 03, 2007 11:05 am

Hi Frns,

New earnings template is bit confusing me. Can anyone please answer to following queries, this query very urgent...

What should we specify in "From" and "To" columns?

I assume that "Date" column should be filled with the date of salary paid and Totals per Wage Slips Supplied is the sum of the gross and net total for the claim period. Correct me if i am worng.

Moreover as the applicant is not providing the bankstatements, should he need to fill these columns as well?

This is very urgent plzzz.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Niruv,
I applied using this template,
Period Covered

Date From To Gross Salary Net Salary

These are same as per your understanding

Bank Statement Info Date Amount

I just mentioned the date of statement and ending balance amount

Also I attached the original statements with seal and sign of the branch manager.

Also I wish to thank you for your answers to my queries which really helpled me to get HSMP within 6 days.

Thanks,
Deepthi

Congrats deepti.
So when r u planning to apply for EC?
And one more thing, what did u fill in "from" and "to" fields?
Is this month begining date and ending date?
Can you please give me with one clear example?
My friend is going to apply very soon.
Thanks!!

Thanks Niruv,
EC I will be doing in Jan 2008.

According to Indian payroll in most of the IT companies working days are considered from 25th of 1st month to 25th of 2nd month (Say 25th of Aug to 25th of Sep). But this will not be able to justify as in my paysilp dates or working period is not mentioned neither the total number of working days. Only the Month will be mentioned.

Therefore I mentioned this as 1st of Aug to 31st of Aug.

Thanks,
Deepthi

Bank Statement Info Date Amount

I just mentioned the date of statement and ending balance amount
I am in the process of preparing my HSMP application.

I have different view with respect to filling up the details under "Bank Statement Info".

I think we need to fill the date on which the salary is credited to the bank account and the salary amount deposited in the bank account. Instead of ending balance amount on that date.

We cannot sum-up the ending balance amount and show it as Total in the given template.

As per my understanding, I think we need to fill the salary credited date and the actual amount credited to your bank account.

My understanding could be even wrong, some please explain/clarify this doubt.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Saravana
