izmile wrote:Hi guys,
Alhamdullah!. Finally my turn has come... Got my approval letter along with my wife's and daughter's. But to be honest, the excitement has worn out due to the stress and anxiety over the past few months.
I was very worried that my case was delayed due to self-employment status... Then I thought it could be due to meeting a person in the detention centre 5 yrs back... Then what not... everything seems to be swirling in your mind.. The past few months has been very stressful and Alhamdullah it worked out fine in the end.
Although the approval letter asked me to call the council, the council has advised me to wait for the ceremony invite letter. In sha Allah, I hope to get it soon.
I pray that the others waiting would get their approval letters soon... I know it is difficult but we have to go through this.
Thanks for all the boarders for your support.

Congrats bro..
It seems that after you are approved everything moves at a relatively fast pace.tyx wrote:Finally, exactly 6 months later, I received the brown envelope with my approval today, dated 28th of September. I applied on the 31st of March. They are finally moving! Now waiting for the invitation to the ceremony letter, they said it'll take up to 2 weeks.
Good luck to everyone else waiting

Haha just completed it, it is surreal. Most of the questions are phrased to shift any blame, e.g. "Tell us what you would do to improve your application process...", instead of "what WE should do". The rest are multiple choice questions like, "Did you actually understand how long you would have to wait?" (Yes,No,I don't know), and "put in order what is important for you when applying" (with THEIR choices of what would be important).. and of course questions like where are you from, was your application successful, when you filled in the application was it difficult, did you ask for help and were we polite...Waitingtoolong wrote:tyx wrote:tyx wrote: P.S. Please complete the survey. Please tell them what you feel about their service. Exactly what you feel.
