I applied for our baby's MN1, Sec 1(3) through Enfield NCS on 16.09.15 but still today HO didn't deduct the fees and we didn't receive the acknowledgement letter. What's happening?? HO don't need money? Please advice. Thanks.

I applied for my daughter on 17/09/2015, we have not received the ack letter yet, but i noticed the fee got deducted from my account yesterday

I applied on 21.09.15 but fee yet to be deducted. This situation seems to be in contrast to HO practice in the past whereby they deduct fees within 72hrs of application receipt

It takes more than 4 months now for 2 kids at the same time. Here is my experience. As advised by some people in this forum, I contacted with my MP last month (8 September 2015) for help. MP is really nice and helpful. They sent email to Home Office, after 14 days no response, they called again last week. One day later, Home Office called MP back to confirm that there was a caseworker to solve my problem. Thus, I got this certificate today. Thank you very much for sharing experience.

Does anyone know what the biometric letter states exactly - we'll be travelling soon after we post the application (I'm an EU citizen so we have passports, etc) and we'll be back 25 days after we post the application... I have heard the biometric letter gives 21 (working or not?) days to apply in a post office. Is that so?
Also can I go to any post office or does the letter state a Specified Post Office I must go into and no other. Finally, do I have to book an appt or can I just walk in?

I've read most of this thread and it seems applications posted recently take 12-15 days from receipt for deduction of fees. Then again, going by the posts on the thread, the date fees are deducted seems to be the same that the biometric letter is dated. Hopefully they keep this pattern as we'll be travelling again not long after we return.
Finally, I dont think there is an option to do Biometric enrolment form Bulgaria, is there?
I've looked at the overseas offices where biometrics can be taken and none seem to be EU..
Our baby is only 3 months old so he needs simply a photo...

how long I have to wait.. again it has become slow.. not hearing many.. whats going on again.. really frustrating.. keep on changing plans but no result yet.. god has to save us..

it is indeed very frustrating, I have been calling HO twice a week for the last one month (as I have a family emergency) but all I get is a standard response. I also got in touch with my MP for help but no luck. What else can I do?
