Salary increment while in Tier 2.

Hi All,
Sorry if It was discussed before, but I am not able to find the link.
My Tier 2(G) visa is valid till 01/02/2018 with my current employer.
I got a pay rise applicable from this month. It's a general hike based on performance. Not sure if other employee received or not.
In this case, does my employer need to inform UKBA about the pay rise as it's reflecting my annual pay compared to the one when I was issued visa.
Kindly suggest.

Actually our HR is not aware of anything, but it's my responsibility to inform HR as ultimately it's going to impact me.

Hi Ravi,

You employer should be reporting this to UKVI within 10 working days of the pay rise. They should tell them that on the basis of your performance, they have increased your salary from £XXX to £YYY.

The only increase in salary which should not need to be reported is the annual increment or bonuses that applies to all staff.

I had a salary increase twice and both of the times my employer informed UKVI through SMS system.

IMHO, its better to inform to be on safe side.

I wouldn't bother tbh, unless its a pay cut, or major change in working hours or job role/description.
