Regarding payslips

Hi,
Just a quick question. Do we really need to provide payslips while extending Tier 2 (General) Visa or while bringing dependent? Isn't bank statement enough for that?

My current company does not provide us with those pay slips.

It is a legal requirement for companies to provide payslips etc., even more so if they are a sponsor for Tier 2 General.

I was just going through other posts. Like the one posted on "Sep 05 2013". He says that it is only required for Intra-company transfers. So confused.. On the bank statement, it shows my company name though..

Are there anyone who extended their Tier 2 General VISA without sending payslip?

Do you work for a proper company sponsor or an umbrella company as a contractor?

Are your payslips perhaps available online and you just don't know or don't print them?? Why have you never asked why you don't get payslips?

I just spoke to finance department in my office and said they do provide payslips. They didn't provide me cause I never asked them. Query solved...
