Any more good news from april applicants?
I had all the documents back (including my husband's passport) from the home office today with the letter (dated 25 Sep) saying that I should receive my card (RC) within 10 working days!
I moved to a new place in the middle of July and have not informed of the change of the address to the home office. The landlord is still looking after my mails and this way I was able to receive the package from the home office that was delivered to the previous address today.
Here, I have one question...there is a note in the letter I received today saying, "on delivery of new card, the courier will require proof of identity and a signature to confirm receipt of the package."
I am a little concerned about what will happen when the courier comes to the house I used to live. Nobody can receive my RC on my behalf. I will tell the landlord to ask other tenants not to mention to the post man that I moved out. Will he still leave a notice paper for me? Does anyone has a similar experience like me?
Congrats Arkadash!arkadash wrote:Some good news. Been reading this forum past few weeks. We received both BRP via private courier and documents via Royal mail back today. What a coincidence. Happy days, now off to holiday

I finally received my RC yesterday.
My previous landloard did not realised the notice paper from DX as it was a proper letter in the envelope (dated 2/10) and I eventuallyreceived it on Sunday. I tried to arrange a redelivery according to the instruction give by the DX letter...called them but only automated response and the website had no option to send it to alternative address. On Monday, I send an email to the Home Office which deals with BRCdelivery, explaining my situation that I have moved and providing information they required, and I received a reply from a lady after two hours from my email, saying that they have arranged a redelivery of my BRC to my new address with the DX link/phone number to track it. I was so surprised that they were so efficient and helpful.
On Tuesday, the DX courier man came to my house already at 10:30am and I finally received my BRC.
The BRC shows the same date as it is shown in the RC letter, so mine is valid from 25/09.
It was a long journey till I received it.
Good luck to all who are waiting for your BRC

Hi raumeraume wrote:Hi everyone,
Need a little advice here.
Me&My unmarried partner applied in July, received COA in Aug and now waiting for the RC. I am the EEA National, and my partner is the non-EEA. We applied on the basis that I am employed.
As you know there was a section on the application form where the EEA national's monthly income is asked. I've put in my monthly salary, however this month I received a one-off bonus, and bonuses are also run through the PAYE just as they were a part of the salary, so if/when the HO checks in with HMRC, they will see the extra payment made this month, and I'm worried that this might seem as a discrepancy. So the question is, do you think this is something I need to inform the HO about, by sending the relevant payslip and a letter from employer explaining the payment? Do you think this counts as 'change of circumstances'? Any advice/opinion would be much appreciated.
Btw congratulations to everyone who have recently received their RCs!
