Hi All
I am an Indian Citizen on ILR since Mar 2014. I was working as a salaried employee till April 2015. I have started my limited company in May 2015 and currently self employed. I am planning to apply spouse visa for my wife next month.
Feb 2011 - April 2015 - Permanent employee of a company earning 40K per annum
May 2015 till now - Draw minimum salary of £733 as Directory
Considering I need to show my finances for the last 12 months
Sep 2014 - April 2015 - Earned £26,666 as salary
May 2015 - Sep 2015 - Earned £3500 as director's salary
May 2015 - Sep 2015 - Earned £15000 as dividend
With cumulative amount, i have exceeded the £18,600 requirement for a partner with no children.
What I'm now confused, is which category should I apply as my earnings are split between salaried and limited company.
Should I complete 3A - Category A in VAF4A - Appendix 2 and 3C - Category F (or) should it be only 3C ? Also, considering I have only started my 5 months back, what level of documentation of my company would be required for the spouse visa ?
I'd greatly appreciate if anyone can help with me this as I found the policy document very confusing.
Thanks
