Delay premium service\ croydon, unable to verify liuk test

I have submitted Ilr application through premium service for myself and dependent last week on 13.10.2015. I was on tier 1 General visa before so I have met other criterias such as the points, years etc. We were there from 10am and were made to wait until 3.45pm when I was told the home office unable to verify my life in the UK test in their system. I asked when they are able to provide with the result, the case worker was not specific but she said as soon as possible. It has been a week, our documents are still with them. I am wondering whether I can call them. I was also given a a generic letter before we left, telling us not to call them, but they will call me after they are done with the further enquiries. There is no date what so ever on when they likely will come back to me. What do you think I should do? I am thinking of hiring a lawyer to push home office along.

Firstly I'll advise that do not panci.You'll be wasting your money by hiring a lawyer to push your case as there is no lawyer who can push the case with home office (unless you already got a lawyer for your application, in that case you can ask him to chase)
Secondly at times home office may not reveal all the information in relation to further enquiries they want to do on your case and there are chances that they might want to verify more information compare to what they have told you
So the only option you have at this point in time is wait to hear something from HO. All the best.

I did check with a lawyer and they said that there is not much they can do if its because of life in the UK test verification. So I guess we will just have to wait.

I did provide the original test cert. That is why I was a bit worried.

This happened to me too, the caseworker said that my application seemed to be fine but that they couldn't confirm the Life in Uk pass. I too will attempt to contact the centre.

I had my appointment at PEO croydon yesterday and the case worker was unable to grant my ILR because they were unable to confirm my Life in the UK pass. I tool my test 4 weeks ago, i presented them with the pass letter. I feel so frustrated. Every other part of my application seemed fine other than this which is totally beyond my control. Now i'm so worried that my application with just get bogged down in the system and take months to resolve.
Has anyone had this problem? any ideas what i can do to get it resolved?

Hi Alfa2727!

I got my biometric cards today! thank goodness. So I guess they did have a glitch in the system sometime last week. I did my test about 4 weeks ago as well. I know how anxious you feel, but i think you should wait a few more days. I got my biometric cards today but I have yet to receive my original documents & passports.

I actually called 'Life in the UK test', number yesterday just to make sure that my details are in their system. I told them what was said by Home office, she was puzzled and said this never happened before. She was so nice and sounded sympathetic. She escalating the matter to her superiors to see how they can help me from their side. Little that I know that my bio cards are on the way. You may call them if you want if that will help to calm your nerves but I think your ILR in on the way too. All the best!

I'm very happy for you, am that does give me some comfort that it hopefully won't take too long for me toto have good news.
The case worker said that they would call me, but receiving the BRP would be even better!
