Tier 2 General Salary Limit.

Hello,

I am currently on Tier 2 General visa which was issued back in February 2013, I was on Post Study Work Visa prior to Tier 2 General. I am due for extension in feb 2016. I am still with same employer, same job and my job is not listed in the shortage of occupation list as it states in my Certificate of Sponsorship.

My question is "Do I still need to meet salary requirement" ? If so can you please state my salary requirement ?

My Current Salary is 30K GBP, Job Type is 2122, Mechanical Engineer.

And final question if I dont meet the salary requirement do I have to go back ?

Any response would be much appreciated.

At the time of applying for an extension, you will need to meet salary requirement of an experienced worker which is £32,900 for your job/soc 2122
