Question to those who had unfortunately visa refusal.

When you receive IHS refund, is there a definite email for refund saying application got refused so we are refunding the payment in case you appeal you have to pay again.

or is it not necessary all the time for not receiving an email?

Please could someone share his/her experience?

Thanks
J
You dont necessarily receive an email.
Our apllication was refused over a month ago not received anything as of yet. Assuming this is because they knew we would appeal.
Thanks for sharing the information. would you mind me asking what was the reason for refusal?

Thanks

Thanks for sharing.

For my mrs, I cant think of any reason, it was SELT she did, no financial issues. all paper work was spot on too. she was on student visa here and had NI number plus NHS number too, went to pk and we got married there, applied a visa on different category. I had a false hope that IHS refund was due to she was here on student visa.

I have strong feeling that it would be a silly reason, ehh this wait is more painful than the normal waiting time lol.

I hope and pray all goes well at then end and quicker too for me and everyone who is waiting. (Ameen)

Salaam. I have been on Carers Allowance since 06 July 2015, and I have been working part-time since 30 January 2015. My wife applied online on 16 July 2015. Does anyone know if there are rules relating to how long I have to be working or receiving Carers Allowance before someone can apply for a settlement visa? I am worried that maybe my wife applied for the visa too soon... Please Help!

Hi Mysterious,

I asked for an update on the morning of 13 Oct and received the "application processed and decision made" email within the hour. I have been waiting for the past nine days for the "official collection email/call" but have yet to receive anything! Surely can't be long now! Inshallah :)

Thanks Mentor 89- I had same response also on monday 12th when i emailed them, same situation as you - nothing official from them and Holidays in Pak from tomorrow i think for a few days.

Thanks Zaki for your reply, this thread seems a bit dead compared to before as majority of people were may and june applications.

When did you apply
my application online was 08 june 2015
bio 17 june 2015
08 sept 2015 email received, application delayed due to further checks
since then I have emailed them 3 time and the response by automated mail is the application has not yet been seen by a ECO
really don't know what else to do
if I keep emailing them for information they will just keep sending this email out
but in shaa ALLAH have faith in ALLAH all will turn out ok

Salaam All,

My dua's are with all you still waiting patiently. In Shaa Allah have sabr when the time is right Allah SWT will make it happen.

Alhumdulillah Alhumdulillah I am happy to say my wait is finally over.

My timeline is:

08/07/15 - online application submission
13/07/15 - bio @ mirpur
29/07/15 - email confirmation from Sheffield to say docs received and requesting prepaid envelope
12/10/15 - I emailed and requested update.
13/10/15 - email received application has been processed &decision was made on 05/10/15
16/10/15 - received my docs back from Sheffield
20/10/15 - official email and text received. Phone call to collect passport next day
21/10/15 - collected passport and Alhumdulillah visa granted.

Visa valid from 5/11/15 to 5/12/15
So now they give visa beginning from future date.

Its soo frustrating and annoying such a silly error, means more waiting...

Ive provided the following;
- copy of the actual certificate. (As they havent sent ours back)
- log in details for cambridge website (because they dont know how to use there own systems)
- Letter from grafton college stating the exam was taken and results are available online.
- Letter from Cambridge stating exam was taken.
- Confirmation of entry and timetable
- Statement of results page
- Also a copy of the page with results and photograph on it. (That they were unable to view).

I pray that InshAllah this should be enough for them.
