Mistake in online application

Post by PPS832 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 3:57 pm

Dear members,

I am applying for Tier 2 General (Switching from Tier 4) visa. I filled up online application form, made the IHS payment and premium service payments etc and booked the appointment.

Now, on printing the Submitted application, I realised that I forgot to put the CoS number and answered 'No'. This is because I had resumed this application which I started before I was issued a CoS and when I resumed to continue, I did not go back to that page.

I tried to go back to the application to try to amend it but since I have paid the fees and booked the appointment, I was not able to make any changes.

I have CoS letter printed out. Now I am not sure whether or not this mistake will affect my application and if anything can be done to rectify the mistake. Could someone provide me any insight in this please?

Any help is very much appreciated.

It should be fine if applying in person as you have to take the print out with you and if you have the CoS letter it will correspond.

No it was not. Information on my CoS was as per my passport and in the cover letter I addressed the mistakes. So there was not any issue due to that.
