11th June , spouse of BC ...still nothing yet July and August people are getting approvals

Applied 15/04/15 still waiting... Got a call back from HO yesterday and was told the same old... "We aim to process your application as soon as possible". I would have preferred they didn't call back at all to be quite honest unless they were giving me valuable information. And so the wait continues...

I have been reading the form i also applied on 23 April 2015 but my fees deducted on 1 June 2015.

I am still waiting for a reply. I called in Home office yesterday as i thought its now 6 months so better off calling them for an update.

Home office staff told me that they count the 6 months from the date of payment and they don't send acknowledgment letters anymore to people.

Even if it is after 6 months you can only write to them to find an update nothing else.

I think HO knows this is the last step and wants to frustrate us as much as possible one last time.

FINALLY!!! Letter arrived in the post this morning (24th Oct), letter dated 21st. Will receive letter re ceremony within 2wks, according to the letter. SO RELIEVED, this arrived 4 days before the 6 months! Never thought it would take this long (EU citizen, been here FOREVER, married to a Brit!).

Good luck to all those still waiting, hope that brown envelope arrives soon!

after 6 months waiting I sent a letter to HO Liverpool asked about my saute on 19/10/15, and also sent email my local NCS at the same time to check if they got my certificate. Got a reply from my local NCS said due to the new form and rules it is quite common to wait more than 6 months.

Then on yesterday 23th afternoon I received another email from the same lady from my local NCS said after a quick checking they found my certificate and told me HO's letter should arrive shortly. This morning that famous brown envelope landed on my doorway.

The letter was dated 15/10/15 which is exactly 6 month after revived my application. I think HO is now processing our finial April applications in the last few days before the "deadline" and try not to miss their 95% target.

For those who still waiting I believe you might have already been approved just it is a bit slow for HO to send their invitation letter. Best wishes to all our April applicants still waiting. Cheers

Congrats. Does certificate go to the local council or the council one applies via NCS?
