Hello guys!

Home office called me today and told me that my passport was trying to be delivered on 10th October (5 days after I requested it). They gave me a tracking number, I tracked it and effectively they Royal Mail attempted once, but they never left a Red Card. That day I just got my COA. I just arranged a new redelivery from post office on this Saturday.

Cheers,

Hello guys

Thanks a lot for all the useful information sharing here, so I'm sharing Good News :D
I have been a silent follower of this forum for nearly a year. I got my BRC today via courier. I haven’t received the BRC letter so far (strange), but I requested the QP passport on 14.10 returned 21.10, triggered something? Who knows!

We’re married living together with 2 kids, applied with my FP expired, QF on zero hour contract average 18/week and self-employed (but marginal), FM unemployed.

My timeline:

Application sent 22.05.2015/received 26.05
Payment 28.05
Email Acknowledgement 02.06.2015
Biometric 05.06 (dated 02.06.2015) same day attended
Passport FM request: 22.06.2015 /Return: 04.07.2015
COA with Right to work: 29.06 Dated 24.06
Passport QP request: 14.10 /Return: 21.10
BRC: 22.10 dated 19.10

Good luck for all

Well, I'm still waiting for my wife's RC, I requested my passport back 3 days ago, because it went out of date since mid August, gave the reason, that I need to renew it.

I'm Swiss, living and exercising my treaty rights since 1995, we've been married for 14 months now, and still waiting, maybe asking for my passport will make them to remember about my application, lets wait and see

Hello mbxah8iraqi,
May is moving but moving very slowly, there has been about 6 MAY applicants who have received their RC but majority still waiting.
Hopefully there will be good news in the next few weeks fingers crossed. I also submitted on the 7th of May and still waiting.

Very True. Someone once said, more than half our life time is spent waiting for things. I realise how true this is.

Guys,

Is the COA a legal document to go outside the country and come back?
Im planing to go to Colombia in December, I already have the tickets, but I don't think my RC is going to be ready by then.
I was on a student visa but it expired since September. Can I ask for my passport back, go to Colombia and then come in again with the COA?

Thanks!

Dear All,

I have fantastic news, our documents arrived today along with the letter from the HO saying that the RC will arrive in the next 10 working days.
We applied on the 20th May and received the COA 10th June. No Interviews, no home visits, no contact at all.

To all of you that are still waiting I wish you the best of luck, and thanks to everyone that takes the time to post on this forum it is a fantastic thing to see people come together and help each other through this. I have to say it really helped me a lot and kept my hopes up during the long wait.

Good luck to you all!

My first EEA2 EFM application was refused with 2 points which was
minor points. I have given last time appeal right. I appealed to
the tribunal and i requested paper decision and they dismissed my
appeal.
i should go for the oral hearing but my mistake i did not.

Now my second application is in process with home office since
couple of months. last time they decided within 10 weeks but this
time they took nearly 18 weeks but not result.

Main question is now
if my second application refused with any other reason ( Will i get
the right of appeal or not)
Yours sincerely,

For convenience refusal, only remedy is to appeal.

Well, today is just 6 months (24th April) since HO sent their email saying.....

Thank you for your application to the Home Office. Your application has been received and is being considered.

It may take up to six months to make a decision on your case. If we are unable to process your application within six months we will tell you as soon as possible.

Now is time to make some phone calls to the HO and start querying about the application outcome, what will be the number I need to call, does anyone know, please??
