Tier 2 general Ext = Driving Points and fine

Post by mjcr28 » Mon Oct 05, 2015 8:25 pm

Dear Members, :P

I am due to apply for my tier 2 general Extension this month. i need a query resolved.

I had a speeding ticket in april 2014. it was a 30mph zone and i drove at 49, however it was an emergency. Anyways i got a Fine + 3 points on my counterpart. this is my first offence never have i broken any laws or applied fo any benefits.

there is a question which asks you in the https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk . this is where i am filling the form. that

Do you have any of the following, in the UK or in a different country?

A criminal conviction, at any time
A driving offence, at any time, eg for speeding or no insurance
I was arrested and charged, and I am currently on or awaiting trial
A caution, warning, reprimand or fixed penalty notice
A court judgment, eg for debt
A fine for breaking UK immigration law (called a 'civil penalty')

So will i have to mention my points, as i have read previous topics and some have said no. i am a bit confused.

Also is the t2 form becoe paperless and we have to fill this form on https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk website

Your reply will be very much appreciated :D

I thing you must declare this on your form but I am not sure weather it will affect your application or not.

Wait for Experts' response.

Thanks,

Thanks Hassan.

I have decided to add this in the application, however was wondering should i put a copy of the letter in there.

Also as i am applying on the 10 day priority service would this make a difference.

Thank You
