That mean you showed less then a year relationship ,did they refuse him under paragraph 320(11) frustration immigration rule ?i guess no ,they refused your case sake of relationship.collect more proof related relationship then appeal.in my opinion if you bare the whole expenses again then wait little while then do fresh application again rather then appeal.appeal is time waste stuff.in my knowledge if some came from England for entry clearance then relationship should be atleast 2 year old.best of luck

My wife received two mails, one from UKVI and another from VFS stating that a decision has been made and She will receive her passport by courier . She got both mails on same day on 19th Oct ( by mistake I wrote 12th Oct in my original post).

you cant track but you can email to find status but they wont tell u anything other than standard reply
your wife applied from jalandhar and i am sure it will go to delhi for processing.
