ILR - Section 6 - Immigration history

Post by shahanurreza » Sun Oct 25, 2015 11:05 pm

Hi,

I am applying ILR next week in the Tier 1 5 year route. Please, help me with the following.

I have a gap between entry clearance and the entry to the UK of about 53 days. I know there is a guidance for case workers to count them as absence.
Now, I am unsure, what date I need to use, to answer the following question in the form?

6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first
entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.

a. should it be the entry clearance date? or
b. should it be the date I first arrived to UK?

I have another question,
Do I need to submit any supporting documents to show my expenses? Like the rent of the house, electricity bill etc?

Please, help!

Thanks in advance.

Date of Entry is regarded as the first time you enter UK. In my opinion you've lost the 53 days

You can apply no sooner than 28 days before the date of entry clearance as you entered within the 90 grace period.

6.1 you answer the actual date you entered the UK.

Caseworkers are fully aware of the 90 day rule for PBS migrants.
