Dear Sosa7,

I received COA today with right to work, And now i am in a very long waiting queue same with everyone.

As I mentioned before that your case and I are same. You mast make sure that you send all required document and must be original not copy. Then you can send email to nweurocoarequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with all your details, name, DOB, passport number, case reference and request new COA with right to work and refer to the Home office process and procedure which is in early post that you have Family Permit and must treat you as Direct Family which entitles to have COA WITH RIGHT TO WORK.

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT
Congratulations ten513. When is your CoA dated?
Thank Kamoe, COA date 22 October 2015.

Thank you very much for collect data and update it.

Dear All,

I would to share some points with you as follow;

- Processing time of RC is within 6 months when received application but because of Biometrics information required. Application is valid when Biometrics information has enrolled. Therefore the processing time of residence card within 6 months start from the date that Biometrics enrolled not the date of received application nor date of COA.

- About request passport back. My solicitor advised me that can request in writing at the same time when send application but because I got refused before at beginning of this year then I decided to requested my passport back after I enrolled Biometrics information.

Hope these help. Good luck everyone.

Dear everyone!
I am May applicant 12/05/15 and today I got my RC dated 22/10

I've been reading this precious forum for so long but could not leave a message since there was always some error. I want to thank you because you helped me so SO much!

I sent my application on 9th of May and even after 4 months didn't get any COA Or bio invitation. I didn't have any idea I was supposed to get these papers so I didn't contact HO. After a while I started reading this forum and got shocked when I saw everyone getting COA and letters so soon. Thanks to you I realised that calling was not so useful so I sent e-mail to HO through whatdotheyknow website but there was no reply.
Then I used e-mail addresses which people posted in this topic AND sent second inquiry on whatdotheyknow. It worked! So I got my COA and bio letter together on 24/09! (Yeh unbelievable :!: )

It's been a loong wait and now finally... Freedom for 5 years! :D :D :D
The moral of the story is - you have to remind HO you exist! Even though they ask you not to...

Thank you again and good luck! :)

Hello, quick question please, does COA arrive in normal letter? or does it requires somebody to sign it..
I send my application on 29th Sep 2015, and wondering whether I should be home waiting for the COA letter.. (desperately need it to start new employment)

CoA, and Biometrics letter, arrives in a brown envelope, and you do NOT need to sign it.

If you applied as FM (married, civil partner, dependent children, etc.) then you only receive your biometric letter first, and you have to enrol your biometrics before they send you the CoA.

If you applied as EFM (unmarried partner and other extended family) then you receive both at the same time in the same envelope.

Have you received your Biometrics letter yet?

Dear Sosa7,

Basically when you hold Family Permit. you have right to work whilst that permit is valid.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... _enterin_2

I printout the link above to confirm with employer that i have right to work.

My Family Permit will expire on 1 January 2016 therefore I will use COA WITH RIGHT TO WORK that valid 6 months from dated of COA to cover after my Family Permit expired until i receive residence card.

Hope will help you while you waiting for new COA

while I am waiting for residence card. And I will use COA with right to work to cover after my family permit expired until i receive residence card

Can others confirm this is always the case? I applied as an EFM unmarried partner. I got my biometrics letter weeks ago and didn't find anything resembling a COA. Have been waiting impatiently for something to show up.

Thanks!

Edit to add that looking at others' timelines in their signatures this is not always the case.

Please go back to read my post earlier.

By rules Direct family will receive Biometrics enrollment letter first after you enrolled will receive COA WITH RIGHT TO WORK if you submitted required documents.

But extended family will received COA WITH NO RIGHT TO WORK. If you have Family Permit and submitted required documents then you will receive COA WITH RIGHT TO WORK. The condition is you have Family Permit or not.

About Biomatic enrollment and COA letter will send together or after. I found out it is depend on who is case worker that handle your case.

From what I see all the cases in this forum if you are Extended family no Family Permit, case worker will send Biometrics and COA at the same times.

But in case of sosa7, case worker has made a mistake because sosa7 and myself are same case is Extended family with Family permit.

-Sosa7 received Biomatic and COA NO RIGHT WORK at the same time.
-I received Biomatrics letter first, alter I enrolled then I received COA WITH RIGHT TO WORK.

Normally after you enrolled Biometrics you will receive COA within 21 days

Hope it help.

The may well refused . But it is a good sign that they did not detain you, which means you may have an in country right of appeal.

I remember a case in which a guy got question like, when they first shared a kiss, and when was the last time her husband prayed, and that resulted in a refusal.

Questions that are almost likely to give divergent answers.

They may or may not refuse, but just be prepared for anything.

I told you about the 2 question that a person I know was refused for.
Hi Obie
I have sent an appeal 10/10/2015, and I have not received confirmation that they received my appeal. Do you know how long it takes before they send such a letter if they send it? I've checked with the bank that they have drawn 140 pound because we have requested an oral hearing. Do you know anything about if a simple CAUTIONS about traiding standards will have any impact on an EEA-application.
I see that you have posted here a lot, and you might have read about it earlier or know anything about the matter. Thank you in advance
Application sent: 14.04.15
COA: 05.05.15
Passport requested: 03.09.15
Passport received: 15.09.15

I send my application on 29th Sep 2015, and wondering whether I should be home waiting for the COA letter.. (desperately need it to start new employment)
CoA, and Biometrics letter, arrives in a brown envelope, and you do NOT need to sign it.

If you applied as FM (married, civil partner, dependent children, etc.) then you only receive your biometric letter first, and you have to enrol your biometrics before they send you the CoA.

If you applied as EFM (unmarried partner and other extended family) then you receive both at the same time in the same envelope.

Have you received your Biometrics letter yet?

Hey, yes :)
see my time line below, and fingers crossed..

App sent/received/fee taken: 29/09 , 30/09, 01/10
Bio dated/received/taken: 06/10, 10/10, 12/12
Passport requested/received: 11/10, 23/10

I would have checked this forum insane number of times in the last one month. At least 20 times a day and read thru every post. But finally this is one post that I have been waiting to submit here.

Received my BRP today!!! Issued on 25/10. Thanks to the forum and all of you, this would have been an tough wait without this forum to fall back. Time to really take some time off and go out on a vacation. Will be checking the forum every now and then, so please feel free to ask any questions..
