Hi,
I am due to apply for ILR in December going via T1(G) five year route. I have few questions about the section 6 (Immigration History) of SET (O) form where HO is asking about the absences from UK.
I will be extremely grateful if anyone can help me with these.
I have been out of country three times on annual leave in last five years. I have some question around these please see details below
1) 2011 - Family visit (3weeks) - do I have to provide proof of this holiday to HO? if yes then what evidence can be submitted as a proof. I have an e-ticket will that suffice?
2) 2013 - Got Married (3 weeks) - I don't have an english translation of marriage certificate with me in that case is it better if i just mention it as Family holiday. Again only submitting e-ticket will suffice?
3) 2015 - Compassionate leave (5 days) - I have a death certificate (original) with me. In this case do i have to tick boxes against these two statements in the application form ?
Letter from applicant detailing reasons for absence due to compelling or compassionate reasons
Original official documents: (medical/birth/death certificate(s))
For all these holidays do i have to get a letter from my employer (i have been working with same employer for last 5 years)? I doubt my employer will have record of annual leave from 2011, if this is true what alternatives do i have?
Also does anyone what is the general rule for this, what information is HO actually after?
Many thanks in advance for your guidance and support with this.
Thanks,
RFD
