Hi everyone. My case, I think, is a bit worrying. It is more than 4.5 months now and I am still waiting for invitation for Biometrics... 3 weeks ago wrote an e-mail to the address provided by Citizenship and nationality enquiries helpline. 2 weeks ago repeated the same: called helpline, got the same e-mail address, wrote another e-mail questioning about Biometrics invitation. Heard nothing back.
Does anyone have any ideas, please, what else can be done in my case?

According to the naturalisation application reference here, I really wondered that I have not still received my Ack. n Bio. letters from H.O. I have sent, emailed and faxed my request to HO on 22/6, 6/7 n 9/7 respectively. Unfortunately, no reply is received. As I have planned to leave UK with my family on 17.7.2015 and return Uk at the end of August. I certainly feel anxious and helpless at present. What can I do? ( After I have finished my NCS service, I got a receipt informing that "If u are planning to leave the UK at all in the two months following your application u need to be aware that u will be invited to enrol ur bio at some point in that period. ......n failure to do so in the requisite period could result in the rejection of ur application." ) I misunderstand that I do not need to enrol my Bio as I have enrolled it in 2014. I find this website after my submission for the naturalisation application

below is the story of my journey:

June 2015

GOODDAY ALL,

YOUR HELP WE MUCH BE APPRECIATED.

TODAY I HAD MY APPOINTMENT WITH THE NCS FOR MY BRITISH CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION AND I WAS TOLD BY THE STAFF THAT MY APPLICATION MIGHT BE REFUSED,THAT I SHOULD NOT WASTE MY MONEY.

HER REASON WAS THERE IS NEW LAW THAT SAY ANYONE THAT HAS BROKEN THE IMMIGRATION LAW IN THE PAST SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 10 YEARS AND PROVE LAGEL STAY FOR 10 YEARS BEFORE THEY CAN BE GRANTED CITIZENSHIP IN UK. SHE SAID BECAUSE I WAS ILLEGAL IN THE COUNTRY FROM 2004 UNTIL 2010 WHEN I HAD MY RESIDENCE CARD THAT MEANS I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2020.

SHE EVEN CALLED SOMEONE FROM THE HOME OFFICE TO DOUBLE CHECKED AND THE PERSON THERE WAS SAYING THE BEST IS TO WAIT BUT HE IS NOT 100% SURE ABOUT IT, AS HE COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING ON SYSTEM, MY HOME OFFICE NUMBER ON PR WAS GIVEN TO HIM OVER THE PHONE. BUT I STILL INSISTED FOR HER TO SEND MY APPLICATION BUT I LATER CALLED HER TO WITHDRAW IT. AND I WENT BACK AND PICK MY FORM UP. £55 LOST.

BELOW IS MY BACK GROUND, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME CHECK IF I AM QUALIFY TO APPLY NOW.

I CAME TO UK IN 2004 I WAS AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT,
2009 IN JANUARY I GOT TO EEA NATIONAL
2010 NOVEMBER I WAS GIVEN 5 YEARS RESIDENCY CARD
2014 JUNE I HAD MY PERMANENT RESIDENCE ON PASSPORT

SO AFTER ONE YEAR OF MY PR, I THOUGHT I HAVE QUALIFY FOR MY CITIZENSHIP?

I HAVE FILL OUT THE CURRENT AN FORM.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE FEW THINGS I WILL LIKE TO ASK ON THE FORM

1. I HAVE GOT ONE CCJ SINCE APRIL 2004 WHICH I AM NOW MAKING A REGULAR PAYMENT. COULD THIS AFFECT MY APPLICATION?
2. QUESTION 1.53 EMPLOYMENT HISTORY. I ONLY STATED THE PERIOD I WORKED WHICH THE LAST 4 YEARS. SHOULD I PUT IN THAT I WAS UNEMPLOYED BEFORE THE LAST 4 YEAR AND THE REASON WHY?
3. I MINE STILL A FAMILY MEMBER OF AN EEA NATIONAL AFTER MY PR?
4. IN QUESTION 2.4 SHOULD TICK THE BOX OF A FAMILY MEMBER OF AN EEA NATIONAL?
5. DO I NEED TO WRITE A COVER TO SUPPORT MY APPLICVATION?

thank you everyone for your support, I have received my success letter today and waiting for invitation letter to come through. I will like to say that the risk has finally paid off in a good way. for does of you who has been in the same situation because for the advice you get from NCS staff or from some member here. my case should be your answer. and I pray God we see you all through when you apply for citizenship.

just what after my application.
I received a letter on the 13/10/2015 asking me to provide evidence that I am make a regular payment on my CCJ. later was dated 09/10/2015. sent the evidence on the 14/10/2015.

received my success letter 26/10/2015 was dated 09/10/2015.

same date on both letter. my question is this why the HO asked for this evidence while the application has already been granted and was taking long to reach me?

I hope this information will help other as well. good luck to does waiting and does who are about to apply.

The child will need to apply for a visa to join you in the UK. I believe the child should apply for ILE (indefinite leave to enter) or child settlement visa. The chils cannot apply for British citizenship as you are not British.

Requirements for indefinite leave to enter the United Kingdom as the child of a parent, parents or a relative present and settled or being admitted for settlement in the United Kingdom
297. The requirements to be met by a person seeking indefinite leave to enter the United Kingdom as the child of a parent, parents or a relative present and settled or being admitted for settlement in the United Kingdom are that he:
(i) is seeking leave to enter to accompany or join a parent, parents or a relative in one of the following circumstances:
(a) both parents are present and settled in the United Kingdom; or
(b) both parents are being admitted on the same occasion for settlement; or
(c) one parent is present and settled in the United Kingdom and the other is being admitted on the same occasion for settlement; or
(d) one parent is present and settled in the United Kingdom or being admitted on the same occasion for settlement and the other parent is dead; or
(e) one parent is present and settled in the United Kingdom or being admitted on the same occasion for settlement and has had sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing; or
(f) one parent or a relative is present and settled in the United Kingdom or being admitted on the same occasion for settlement and there are serious and compelling family or other considerations which make exclusion of the child undesirable and suitable arrangements have been made for the child’s care; and
(ii) is under the age of 18; and
(iii) is not leading an independent life, is unmarried and is not a civil partner, and has not formed an independent family unit; and
(iv) can, and will, be accommodated adequately by the parent, parents or relative the child is seeking to join without recourse to public funds in accommodation which the parent, parents or relative the child is seeking to join, own or occupy exclusively; and
(v) can, and will, be maintained adequately by the parent, parents, or relative the child is seeking to join, without recourse to public funds; and
(vi) holds a valid United Kingdom entry clearance for entry in this capacity; and
(vii) does not fall for refusal under the general grounds for refusal.
