I thinks its been 3rd time i am asking for answer of a simple question somit will be great help if some one will answer this.

My question is after going through this forum what i have learnt is mostly you do not get officiall mail when you ask for enquiry they will tell that you application has been processed.so what i need to know is even after that mail do you get official mail of your application has been processed or that is final mail and after that fedEx will contact you for passport collection or you have to wait for official nmail.

Thanks in advance.
Yes there is only one email from Gerrys to say your application has been recieved and to come and get there. there was no official email from UKVI .
Thanks alot Mysterious.so thats mean mostly they do not tell you untill you will send an equiry ?? One more thing after how long from processed email you got Gerrys mail for collection.

Hi.

For a spouse visa to join partner in UK:

I have a question about the online application form please.

Does this need to be printed, signed by the applicant and submitted with the documents to Sheffield? Or is the online submission enough?

Does the applicant need to sign any other forms?

Many Thanks

Yes Haze77, it does need to be printed and signed by the applicant and then returned to yourself so you can submit in Sheffield.

[quote="rosie.x"]@tiger girl, was it you who said your MP had a meeting with the home office people?

Any advice/information that you could put forward, would be great. As i will be getting my MP to get in touch with them again. Want to make it a stong as possible to get this changed.

I really hope they overturn all these decisions!

Firstly i like to share that my husband got a call today to submitt his passport so mashallah im very relieved and inshallah your appeal will.be overturned.

When i saw my MP i explained that i work full time n how stressed i am cos my case was good and due to technical error my visa got refused and gave her all the paper work what i submitted in my appeal. The ukvi took 3 wks to reply first and then mp had a meeting about few cases with immigration officer and spoke to them.about it. Then ukvi fron pakistan said i will be hearing soon in coming days. But i rang mp every week to ask about update and always rang on my.lunch working 9-6 that makes them feel sorry for you.As both of u r in the same boat as me inshallah very soon yours will be overturned. Keep pestering the mp.

I think mysterious understood your question incorrectly. If you ask for an update and they say your application has been processed, you will still get another official email from Gerrys when the passport is ready for collection. The email from Gerrys is the important one as it means the passport is actually available to collect.

@stillwaiting123 the IHS refund link disappeared in week 12 and the whole process took 14 weeks. My online application was before the change so I paid the IHS separately. Hope this helps.

There was this one guy but he applied from Singapore, he got his decision within 2 weeks. No one applying from Pakistan has yet used this service or updated us.
Yours is probably the first case on this forum from Pakistan. Please keep us updated.
Thank u monadii. I will keep you all posted.

They havent mentioned any processing time for priority just that it will be placed at the front of the que of rest of the settlement applications. Dnt know how reliable its going to be but going to give it a shot anyway!

Pretty sure there is no priority service for settlement visa
There is one for visit visa only. There is a VIP service for Gerrys that costs a little more but it just means that your spouse is seen quicker at Gerrys. The rest of the application time is exactly the same.
