Tax Return Query

Post by ahj » Sun Nov 01, 2015 5:02 pm

Hi Guys,

I would really appreciate your help.

Please can you advise if can I amended tax return for year 2010-11 which I submitted in Jan 2012, as there is an accounting on my return which I want to amend before I apply for ILR to HO.
Also, how long will it take for hmrc to amend the tax return for the year?
Will hrmc send me an updated document regarding tax return for 2010-11?

Many Thanks

I'm not sure people know, it's only recently UKVI started down the tax checking route, and HMRC isn't that quick anyway..

you need to send amendment in writing to HMRC the current timeline for processing is 4 to 6 months.. they will update SA100 but not sure about this SA302 will stay remain same and will not be updated..
