Hello everyone,
I am EU national and my girfriend is non EU national currently living in London togheter for more than 2 years after i have been relocated from my previous work,
I do work and she finished her Master here in UK few months ago.

Her timeline is:
Application sent on 5/09
Biometric 18/9
Certificate of Apllication 30/10
Residence Card Pending

Now we are in a weird situation:
We would like to change house but since she is waiting her Residence Card, her checks for renting are automatically rejected. The Certificate of Apllication is not enough for letting agencies and as couple i also become automatically non elegible for rent.
Now this is quite funny, we cant leave the country because our passports are processing with all the documents and at the same time we cannot rent any proprety in London.
I don't know if anyone is in a similar situation but in my opinion this goes againt the basic Human rights. Let's pretend our current landlord kick us out the current property. That means for the British law that we can live without a house.

If anyone has any tips/lawyer experience please reply!

Thanks!

Tom

hi 10z all that i can say is dont be nervous and depressed on the day of the interview as this can have untoward effect on you.stay cool and relax. i am providing you some tips of the interview then you provide us tips and advice for the questionnaire.

Here's a list of some interview questions, again, from two posts awhile ago, in no particular order: Where did you meet? When did you meet? When did you decide to get married? Where did you get married? How did you go there? Who went with you? Who were your witnesses? How many siblings do you have? How many siblings does your spouse have? How long have you lived together? Have you lived anywhere else together? What are the names of your spouse's parents? When did you both come to the UK? What did you study? what is your job title? What do you do day to day? What is your spouse's job title? What does your spouse do day to day? How much do you pay on student loans? Do you own your house? How much is the mortgage a month? Who pays the bills? What is your spouse's current project called? What are your political affiliations? Who was present at your wedding? What does your husband drink? What is your drink of choice? When and where are you going on holiday next? Anything you want to add to support your application? When and where did you meet? What time and date was it Who talked first . Who exchange the number first Where does your partner job? How she go ther? Who is the employer and does you know her or him apart from your partner? Who pay the bills? Which furniture do you have in your room? Where do you sleep left or right? Who bought your marriage rings? How did you go ther at your marriage ceremony ? About marriage witnesses ? Where did you go last time together? Both of your hobbies? Which film have you seen together What you normally do at weekends?

Hi Billy,
these are the sections but in each section they ask you every thing in detail

A;evidence relating to ur marriage
B;evidence relating to ur language which u speak with ur spouse,
C;evidence relating to ur relationship
D;any other additional evidence

questionnaire is a sign of interview, but be positive God bless you,

This month will drag…
Has anyone who applied had an interview if they had a family permit issued before (6months one)?
My wife is 6 months pregnant, and really not fancy to travel to Liverpool and stress her out.
We have applied on 24 June, so hopefully we will get decision in few days finger crossed.

Hey you guys, Im back again "with bad news".
Im not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I received my RC couple of months ago on an A4 paper , sadly , few days ago, some hot liquid was spilt on it which damaged the paper, the vignette itself is fine, but it has been peeled off from the paper.

My question is:
Is there a form like TOC for eea2, which i can apply for replacement by, or do i just have to apply for eea2 all over
again ?
Please let me know, wish you all the best.

You can report your BRP lost or stolen from inside or outside the UK.
The Home Office will contact you within 1 working day to tell you what to do next.
You need the following to report your BRP lost or stolen:
your full name, date of birth and nationality.
an email or postal address.
Just fill in the form in this website :https://www.biometric-residence-permit. ... en-damaged

And Then you need to apply for a replacement BRP :

within 3 months if it was lost, stolen or damaged while you were in the UK
within 1 month if you’re returning to the UK on a ‘replacement BRP visa’
A replacement BRP costs £45.

They estimate six months from the date you submitted your application and not from the date you received COA. They have already spent over six months in your application since 02/10/2015. Call the phone number 0300 123 2241. If they say that your application is still under process, you have to write a complaint to HO
Thanks nora_804,

I was in the line wating for 45min, then a lady did finally answer, and told me that for eea matters needed to call another number, that is 0300 123 2253 so, after a few minutes, another lady ask me fisrt, my wife's name, to which a gave her maiden name, then she asked the case number, and then her phone number,so I told her unless she speaks spanish, then no chance to speak to her, because her english is still very poor, my wife is from Peru, so, she then asked my number, and told me that it would take 3 working days before someone will call me....
so here we go, still have to wait a few more days bla bla bla,
Timeline:
Fourth application sent 21.07.17
HO received 24.07.17
Paid on 25.07.17
Biometrics 23.08.17
COA received 07.09.17
Passports received 07.09.16
Status: Decided on 10.11.17
Documents returned 13.11.17 dated 09
RC 13.11.17 dated 09
