child passport on father ilr require urgently

Hi,
I got ILR early this year, now blessed with baby girl. want to apply for British passport because we are planning to back home. Is there anyway to get it Urgently. Found that there is no fast track. How much time post office check & send will take? because we have to apply child visa for home country too. Which one will be quicker post or post office check & send?

If your baby was born after you got your ILR, you CAN use the fast track service to apply for a child passport. It takes about 1 week.

Fast track is NOT available for adult first time passports.

Yes baby born after I got ILR, I am happy to do fast track but passport helpline said to me yesterday that fast track is not available for parent got ILR. Please help how can I do fast track?

This will be in addition to answers provided earlier

Please call the IPS helpline number and get appointment . Fill the online application , print it and get it signed and visit the IPS office . Drop the following documents

1) Your Passport & Your wife ( they will not keep but will see )
2) Your ILR card along with your wife ( this i think they will keep)
3) Child Original full Birth Certificate ( will keep)
4) Child any Other passport ( will keep)

Pay the fee on counter and dont forget to ask for secure delivery . If suppose you dropped it on Monday , you will hopefully get the passport via DX till Thursday.
